these look interesting, I liek the fact that your going to be pulling aspects of the information into the design i.e. your using the texture of the aligator for a background though you might look into finding some way to make it less appearent in the design, its a little overpowering at the level you have it at now.
I take it that you're going to show an animation of your instructions? I think that would be a great way to further engage the user. It's diffrent from a written instruction. I'm wondering, though, where would you put your tid bits?
i dont think you need an animation of an alligator attack. i believe we can all visual what it may look like without having the graphic nature of something like that... plus it could be illustrated in a better manner through descriptive steps and not a video... the use of the textures could be executed better formally, they are somewhat dull looking. and some of the crops are confusing. plus it may also be better to pursue visuals that relate to each step rather than the broad overview of your concept as a whole.
also i would look back at your earlier wireframe sketches, and your use of the secondary facts.

Josh, Monina is correct in identifying that you lack the secondary level of information, nor a way to navigate to them.
Placing the alligator image in the background moves these wireframes towards the camp of preliminary design comps.
